U13 is a key transition stage where players deepen their technical foundation while developing stronger tactical awareness, game understanding, and confidence in competitive environments. Training and match play are designed to challenge players appropriately while supporting continued enjoyment of the game.

Program Overview
Our U13 Tier 1/2 program is designed to prepare players for entry into the Alberta Premier Development League (APDL) the following year.
With multiple training contacts per week, including sessions led by Canada Soccer–certified coaches and technical specialists, players are challenged to compete at a higher standard. Tactical understanding, position-specific work, and video review are introduced to support individual development and team performance.
This program is ideal for players committed to the game and aiming to pursue high-level opportunities.

CMSA Evaluations: March 16 – March 21
MUSC program runs April 6 - July 26
CMSA Regular Season: April 25 – July 26
Program Delivery (Minimum)
Practices: 1 x 90 minutes per week
Match day: Approximately once per week (any day during the week, 9v9 format)
MUSC Academy: 12 x 90 minute session
MUSC Blue + Skills session (12 x 60 minutes)

Program Overview
U13 Tier 3 is tailored for players still refining their technical foundation or balancing other interests.
With one less weekly contact than Tier 1/2, players benefit from structured, meaningful training and competition. Sessions focus on improving comfort on the ball, game IQ, and confidence in a supportive environment.
Players in Tier 3 may transition into higher-performance streams in future seasons or continue to enjoy the game at their own pace.

Program Overview
Tier 4/5 is designed for players who enjoy the game and are continuing to build confidence and skills in a structured, community-centered setting.
Players train once per week and play one match per week led by trained parent coaches. The focus is on teamwork, fundamental technical development, and consistent participation. This tier is ideal for players who value fun, connection, and steady improvement.
