Registration for the outdoor season typically opens on February 1 and for the indoor season on August 1.

If there is still a spot available then you can register after the deadline. We recommend however to register within the deadline to secure your spot, to participate in evaluations and for planning and organizational purposes.

We are working together with Kidsport. Furthermore we offer instalment payments and payment plans for our CMSA and APDL families. Please connect with our registrar Alex Hebib at ahebib@mckenzieunited.ca if you are applying for Kidsport funding or require assistance with a payment plan.

To update your address, emergency contact or participant information please send an email to info@mckenzieunited.ca.
Parent/Guardian information entered and submitted at registration can't be changed afterwards. Parent/Guardian contact information can be updated by the registrant on the team level once the participant has been assigned to their team on teamlinkt (using the teamlinkt app).

All CMSA and APDL players:
CMSA Player waiver - Families need to submit the player waiver for each player to CMSA at the beginning of each indoor season. It's valid for one indoor season and the following outdoor season.

Proof of age document (Alberta Health card, birth certificate, passport.....) - Families need to submit one time a proof of age document so that CMSA can verify the age of the player. This can be submitted to CMSA when submitting the player waiver or by sending an email to info@mckenzieunited.ca
U11-U19 CMSA/APDL players:
Valid player ID card that can be organized by visiting the CMSA office during their regular business hours.

Team Gear
Club provided gear depending on the league the player is registered for (Grassroots/House League, CMSA or APDL). More information can be found in our program guide on our website www.musc.ca or in our welcome email at the beginning of a season.
All players need to provide shoes, shin pads and bring a labelled water bottle. Outdoor season: runners or cleats, Indoor season: indoor soccer shoes when playing in the Maxwell (Calgary) Soccer Center - or cleats, turf shoes when playing on turf fields

Evaluations will be held for CMSA players - typically U10+ and for APDL players (open tryout sessions)
Outdoor season: end of March / beginning of April
Indoor season: CMSA players: September/beginning of October APDL players: end of August

CMSA players need to be registered with our club for the upcoming season
APDL players can participate in our open tryout sessions by submitting the expression of interest form on our website www.musc.ca

Players should wear athletic gear (t-shirt, shorts, knee high socks, shin pads, soccer shoes), bring a labelled water bottle and should dress for the weather if the evaluation is being held outdoors.
You don't need to bring anything else. Our coordinators have a check in sheet with the player's name and players will receive a numbered pinnie.

Friend requests can be made when registering for our Grassroots and House League. Just mention the friend your player wants to play with when registering. You will find a question in the registration form.
For our CMSA and APDL leagues friend requests are not possible as there will be evaluations held at the beginning of the season.

Grassroots / House League: We will assign your child to their team on teamlinkt. Using the teamlinkt app you can access the team and schedule once your child has been assigned and the team is activated.
CMSA/APDL: After evaluations are completed we are sending a team announcement email and assign your child to their team on teamlinkt. Using the teamlinkt app you can access the team and schedule once your child has been assigned and the team is activated.
Please note: We don't have the team placement information before this time.

During the season: Please download the teamlinkt app and you can join your team once your player has been assigned to their team and the team is activated.

Team Managers enter the schedule on the communication platform that your team is using (e.g. teamlinkt)

Please see cancellation and refund policy signed at registration. Cancellations need to be sent in writing to our registrar Alex Hebib at ahebib@mckenzieunited.ca within the deadline outlined in our cancellation and refund policy (registration documents).

Yes, through the ASA (Alberta Soccer Association) Sport Accident Insurance a player is covered for medical expenses incurred due to an injury in a sanctioned game or practice (e.g. for ambulance fees, physiotherapy.....). Make sure you start a claim by filling out the Medical Expense Claim Form AND the Personal Information Notice and Consent, as appropriate, within 30 days .
